About

The Short Version Is Curiosity.

I've always been interested in how things work — businesses, people, markets and opportunities.

That interest is what pulled me into a career that has never sat still. I started out learning how operations actually run, not from a textbook but from being inside them. Then sales. Then marketing. Then technology, software, automotive, consulting, partnerships and, along the way, entertainment and events, which taught me more about audiences and timing than any course could have.

Automotive became a home base. I spent years around dealerships — independent and franchise — learning the used vehicle side, inventory, desk decisions, vendor relationships, marketing spend and the gap between what a store says it does and what actually happens on a Saturday. I've worked with and served thousands of dealers, helped build software for them, and advised the vendors trying to sell to them.

I've also built things. Companies, products, revenue lines, partnerships, campaigns. Some worked extremely well. Some taught me what not to do again. Both were useful.

My strength isn't being the deepest expert in one narrow area. It's understanding how the pieces connect.

Most businesses are not short on information. They are short on someone who can look at marketing, sales, operations, technology and customer experience at the same time and tell them where the real problem is — or where the opportunity has been sitting unnoticed.

I'm direct. I'd rather have an honest conversation about what isn't working than a polite one that goes nowhere. And I tend to be more interested in what a business could become than in defending how it has always operated.
